How to become a member

STEPS TO BECOME A MEMBER

 

New memberships

    1. Get a new Working with Children Check OR update existing card and nominate Rosebud & McCrae Life Saving Club Volunteer Organisation. Details you need are above.
    2. Email a photo of your WWCC card to
    3. Go to Surf Life Saving Australia website https://members.sls.com.au/ members portal to:
      • Create a new individual account
      • Create a Family Group (Nipper Family Memberships Only) and make payment
      • Pay as an individual (Social, Patrol) https://members.sls.com.au/
    4. Once approved, you’ll receive a Welcome email from the Membership Team & depending on membership level, receive information on accessing the clubhouse.

Renewing Memberships

    1. Get a new Working with Children Check OR update existing card and nominate Rosebud & McCrae Life Saving Club Volunteer Organisation. Details you need are above.

To renew your membership payment as:

    1. Once approved, you’ll receive a Welcome email from the Membership Team & depending on membership level, receive information on accessing the clubhouse.

 

Transferring Memberships

If you wish to transfer your membership from another Club in Australia to Rosebud & McCrae Life Saving Club, please contact  for assistance.

You will still be required to provide a photo of your WWCC card and make a membership payment as per steps outlined above. Fees for transferring members are slightly different.

 

A note on Nipper Family Memberships

A Family Group will have one parent / guardian who will be the Primary Contact – their nominated email address will receive all communications for the Family. Only the Primary Contact can renew the Memberships of all accounts in the group.

Each adult in the group must provide a photo of their Working With Children Check.

Each adult will be required to provide a unique code to access the Clubhouse. It is not to be shared with each other in the group.

A note on Individual Memberships

As an individual membership you will be:

      • Aged 18 years + as of 30 September to be a Patrolling or Social Member.
      • Aged 13-15 years as of 30 September to be a Cadet and already /or will commit to completing a Surf Rescue Certificate.
      • Aged 15-18 years as of 30 September to be a Active Minor and already have /or will commit to completing a Bronze Medallion Certificate.
      • Aged 18 years + as of 30 September to be a Patrolling or Social Membership OR a Nipper Parent with a Cadet/s or Active Minor
